Obsession: Bags
I love bags. Handbags, clutches, purses, hobo's, satchels, etc. Every one needs one, or two or twelve... This is one of my favorite reasons to be a lady. I mean let us really understand how great it is to carry around our stuff in a really cool looking leather or fabric covered bag. Yea so, sometimes they can get heavy or we spill stuff on them, but just another reason to get another bag!
So even though I am ALWAYS on the lookout for a beautiful bag (and with the right price), their are other people out there that need them too.
Like new graduate students like my BF. He will shortly be moving across the country to Durham NC. I know, boohoo. But in all the craziness that moving entails, I am hoping to send him off with a great little care package of sweet little things.
I've been deciding between two things
The center pieces:

Left: Wood and Faulk
Right: Filson
I have these two options.
Woods and Faulk http://woodandfaulk.bigcartel.com/
So this bag is amazing!
W&F is a much bigger bag (17x17), but in my opinion, much cooler. These bags are made to be tool carriers originally. I love it because it is manly yet chic. He will look so cute at school with this bag!! It will fit his computer plus any papers/books he needs. And you always gotta love the canvas with leather trim look. Its classic Americana. I am going through a love of America thing right now an I am embracing this good 'ol country we live in. The designer, Matt, has a really great page/blog and does woodworking as well. Totally cool.
Filson http://www.filson.com/
This bag is more of a classic. The green color I love. It is also smaller, meaning just computer and papers, maybe a book. This is also more expensive. All the reviews said it was very durable. OMG all those comments were totally written by men. Very blunt, so funny.
I personally like the W&F more. It may not be that practical for BF, but that does not mean it will not be practical for me...I was thinking I could lug around my acupuncture tools in this. My current one is a hefty black make-up box, waaay industrial. I would like to trade it up for something lighter.
Hopefully I can decide which bag to choose in time! I want to start him off on a good foot for his travels and education. I hope he likes either one!!!
If you were wondering what my current school bag is (to carry around my computer, etc), well here it is:
So Cute Huh? I hated it at first because of the short handles, but now I think it is one of the coolest bags I own! Fits my computer and papers. maybe a book or two. Best part: durability + cuteness
